The eOLF (electronic online filing of inventions) software kit can be downloaded by following the steps in the Manual or by following the link https://osim.ro/images/software/OLF515.zip .
We remind you that, in the context of the decommissioning of the eOLF application and the cessation of technical support by the European Patent Office, OSIM can no longer provide interventions to remedy any technical errors generated by this situation.
The application is still available and can be used by most applicants. However, in the event of malfunctions in the document transmission process, users are asked to use alternative submission methods, namely:
– paper submission at OSIM headquarters;
– sending documents by postal services;
To ensure continuity and modernization of the services offered, OSIM is currently developing and testing a new online filing solution, which will replace the current application. Users will be officially informed once it is launched into production.
OSIM is taking all necessary steps to maintain access to its services.

EPO SMART CARD OR SOFT CERTIFICATE
For online filing using the EPO-OLF system, a smart card or soft certificate is required.
For self-registration, fill in this form using the Microsoft Edge/ Chrome browser (select the certificate and enter the PIN code when requested).
As soon as you have completed this procedure, you will be able to send your online applications to OSIM.
EPO-OLF system version 5
The full package for installing the Online Filing program version 5.15 (Release 5.0.15) with updates (stand-alone and/or server and thin client) may be downloaded from the portal epoline Download centre section; the documentation drawn-up by EPO.

WIPO DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
The digital certificates issued by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) only allow electronic filing of PCT patent applications using the software product PCT-SAFE (Secure Applications Filed Electronically).
In order to obtain this digital certificate for free, fill in the form from the WIPO website. After WIPO approves your request, you will receive an e-mail with instructions.
The digital certificates issued by WIPO are not required to be registered by OSIM.
